Why: Mozart
In Vienna, where Mozart lived for the last decade of his life, he met Lorenzo da Ponte, the librettist.

Da Ponte, a former priest who was banished from Venice after a scandalous affair, collaborated with Mozart to produce The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni and Così fan tutte.

Visit Mozart’s old apartment on Domgasse, the street behind St Stephen’s Cathedral, where he married Constanze Weber in 1782.

Innere Stadt
Located in the historical centre of Vienna, this penthouse sits at the top of a heritage building and offers views of the city’s first district. It is less than a 10-minute walk from Mozarthaus to the east and the State Opera to the south.
Due for completion in 2018, this property will have 700 sq m of living space, a planted terrace and the potential for a private rooftop swimming pool.

Sievering, 19th district
Located in the 19th-century suburb of Sievering, a short drive from Vienna’s centre, this recently completed five-bedroom villa was designed in the style of the Gründerzeit period.
The main house and its three annexes — a guest house, an atelier and a pavilion — are built around a 1,190 sq m garden set in natural parkland.

There is a staff building and a four-car garage.
